Lemon-lime Jello Salad

This recipe comes from a friend in Pennsylvania.

2 packages (3 ounces each) Jello, either 1 lime flavored and 1 lemon flavored, or 2 lime flavored

1 cup boiling water

1 can (13 1/2 ounces) crushed pineapple

1 can evaporated milk

1 cup (small curd) cottage cheese

1 cup chopped nuts (I use pecans or walnuts)

Dissolve Jello in water and stir well. Add undrained pineapple, milk, cheese and nuts. Mix well and turn into mold or deep dish. Refrigerate until firm. Serve with or without whipped cream.

Note: If you chill the pineapple, milk, cheese and nuts before adding, the salad will set-up much quicker.

Cut 4 large oranges in half crosswise (in zigzag or scallop design, if desired)

Remove fruit;separate and dice the sections.
